This week is all about learning rules and procedures. The students are making our class rules and we will be practicing them throughtout the year. Please make sure you read the School Handbook online, sign and return the paper sent in your child's folder. You also need to send back the white card with your child's information. Assignment books should be checked daily and signed as well. If it is not signed, it will count as a missing homework assignment. ( 3 missing assignments = infraction)  Please remind your child that PE shirts should be tucked in their shorts, and complete uniforms should be worn.
Please be patient and cooperative for afternoon pick ups! Our school's expansion and improvement will be worth the wait!
Check the blog often for new updates! It's a pleasure having you in our class!       Mrs. Valladares/ Ms.Rivera

Because of this, students will be permitted to come to school in their PE uniforms even if they do not have PE.  It is cooler than the regular uniform.  Also, please make sure your child has a water bottle with them in the classroom so they can drink when they need to and stay hydrated.

Like I mentioned in the last blog update, Thursday will be my last day at school with the children.  Our substitute's name is Carol Maria Giron and she will be spending the week with us before I go out for maternity leave.  Ms. Rivera will continue to be the 2A classroom assistant and help Ms. Giron with our routines and procedures.  It's been a great year!  The kids have worked hard but we've also had a lot of fun.  I also want to thank all you parents for being such a supportive group.  I wish you all a fun, relaxing summer and I hope that 2A students continue to achieve great things in 3rd grade!
